'MEIRAAP-RAMMENAS'
MEIRAAP and RAMMENAS together are juicy.
They have a slightly spicy radish flavour.
You can eat it (sliced) as a snack or (grated) in a fresh salad.
When cooked, the turnip tastes like a potato and the radish soft with sweet notes. Stir-fried turnip with radish, a radish delight!
INGREDIëNTS
- Brown sugar 1 tablespoon
- Basil 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper 0.5 tablespoon
- Turmeric 2 tablespoons
- Nutmeg
- Vegetable stock 1 piece
- Olive oil 4 tablespoons
- Nutmeg
- Turnip 6 pieces
- Marrowfruit 3 pieces
- Mushrooms 250 grams
- Kentjoer 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Rawits 4 pieces
- Coconut cream 125 ml
- Avocado 1 piece
MEIRAAP-RAMMENAS with MUSHROOMS
1. Wash and peel the turnip and ramekins.
Cut them into thick slices and then into cubes.
2. Clean and finely chop the mushrooms.
3. Put it all in a bowl with the ingredients.
Do not add the stock cube or the coconut cream.
4. Stir everything together in the bowl.
Leave it to stand for half an hour.
5. Heat the pan and add everything from the bowl to the pan.
6. Turn the heat up to medium and stir gently, into the wok.
7. Add the bouillon cube and the coconut cream.
8. Leave the delicious mixture to simmer for around 30 minutes on a low heat.
