A7. TASTEFUL GATHERING

Without love, a person cannot live, that is a proven fact.
Love comes in various degrees in relational and passionate loves.
Passionate love means Martial Art to me, nothing comes between it.
Martial Art is a broad concept. The origin of the Monks from the Shaolin Monastery (Buddhist temple), the Eastern arts, meditation, their philosophy of life. Respect for them!
I am a big fan of Eastern history with old stories based on truth, without ego.
When listening to the stories, you can dream away.

The saying 'wisdom comes with age' is applicable to me.
Out of honor for my father, after a considered decision, I accepted his wish with love, to practice our Martial Art and am faithfully follow 'the white line' in the style of my father and my mentor Jim Bax.
I have learned a lot from them and about life. I am a privileged person. A great wealth! I carry both of them with respect.
Credit where credit is due. Two very unique people! A great loss.

Growing older in movement makes you physically stronger, meditation gives you inner peace.
Whatever happens around you, you keep your inner cool.

Plato plato we say in Indonesian, or take it easy.
What attracts me to the Indonesian culture is the warmth, the modesty, the connection.
The oriental culture with the food, krontjong music, the Indonesian rock bands, the dance.
I am proud that I am an Indo, crazy about Indonesian food. It is varied and versatile in dishes.
Whatever pure dish it is, cooking works therapeutically for me.
From less to more, a creative challenge! The right taste, that's what it's all about.
I feel honored when I hear the silent sounds of tasting while eating. A nice compliment.

During the preparations I regularly use peppers as an ingredient.
Peppers come in so many varieties and spiciness, such as Madam Jeanet, Lombok and Rawit.
I mostly use lomboks and rawits for my dishes and for making fresh sambal.
Some people like it spicier than others. That's why I always put a jar of sambal on the table for my guests during a meal.

A few girlfriends are coming over soon and they love my cooking.
To spoil them, I make a simple Indonesian dish and Tjendol as a drink, JENs style.
SPICY TEMPEH with pandan rice, atjar and emping, makes it a colorful and fragrant whole.
When the girls are there, we first toast with champagne and then attack.
Nice chatting, laughing, listening and especially being together while enjoying good food.
Good food JEN style, an exotic, tongue-tingling enjoyment!
Together Prosito! to a tasteful get-together. How beautiful.
