17. THE HARVEST

In my area, the vegetables in the supermarkets are limited in choice.
Creativity in recipes and cooking sometimes make it a challenge.
It is therefore nice to be self-sufficient and being outdoors gives energy.
The preparation and patience to make the vegetable garden ‘vegetable-ready’ also pays off. The end result is a real pleasure for the throat.
At various times of the year it is special to see something delicious grow from something small. Natural juicy wonders!
After the loving care of Hans, so many fresh products are ready for use.

As are the walnut and fruit trees.
My mouth waters at the thought of all the things you can do with it.
A fresh pleasure to taste and the many variations to prepare: fragrant fresh cakes. The fresh jams, sambals, soups, salads. And like the tasty kale that also makes its entrance as a stew in the summer. So much tongue-tingling enjoyment, too much to mention from our festive garden paradise!
Hans gardening is like gold, everything he touches blooms and grows like fresh love.
