A6. FEASTING

Every season brings a cheerful tune with it.
Winterproof past, she starts the new spring with a sunny start.
After the winter, the mild temperature comes around the corner. That makes everyone happy.
Strolling through the garden, playing golf, cycling, walking, in short, something for everyone.
A new laugh every day.

Like an ‘agenda tour de France’ I cycle through the daily with a smile.
I don’t need a pilot’s license, because that goes on autopilot.
In the past I was so allergic to the word agenda or ignored its existence.
With the rapid rise of mobile phones, items have changed at a rapid pace.
Unnoticed we are going along with this acceleration.
I have even pushed my boundaries by using the agenda on my mobile phone for ‘things to do’.

Always a pleasant hustle and bustle in terms of planning in JENs style: new meetings, family and friends.
This wealth moves me.
Just like with music. Dreaming away or singing along with passion, from your heart.
While cooking in JENs style, with music in the background, swinging while cooking.

Today is a special day with my cousin Daniel.
Because I am in a sweet mood, I come up with a dish with tomatoes in it.
A double taste feast with a matching wine.
Seen, smelled and tasted various wines.
After the wine-rich finale at a beautiful winery, I get to work at home in JENs style.
Daniel hands everything and I stand behind the stove.
While cooking, we each taste a glass of the chosen wine.
The nice thing about family is, it is always good when you come in. It feels familiar.
Hospitality, coziness are powerful elements that are naturally part of us.
So nice to share this with each other. Daniel is just like me, crazy about food and today he is the test subject.
Tasting BRATWURSTFUSION.

The recipe with the sweet juicy tomatoes, is simmering gently in the casserole.
The aroma comes towards us. The fragrant fumes of fresh herbs, the tomatoes, aubergine, pointed cabbage.
When the dish is almost ready, I add fresh eggs, without shells, on top.
We eat basmati rice with it, delicious in smell and taste.
While toasting, Daniel says to me ‘Prosito to JENs KookFun’. What a feast we will have again'.
