A2. SISTERS LOVE

I am staying at my sister's house. She is on holiday for a week.
A nice village, where I like to spend time. Every advantage has a disadvantage.
Sleeping in on Sunday? Forget it, you will be woken up early.
By the church bells that loudly wake up the whole village. And believe me, it is very early then.

There is no point in staying in bed, but a cappuccino will help you wake up.
In the garden I enjoy listening to the sound of the happy birds around me.
After breakfast I walk relaxed into my day and start working on a new recipe.
On my laptop I am really enjoying myself and see all the delicious things passing by in my head.
I am getting more and more enthusiastic. Tomorrow I am going to try out this recipe. Exciting!
Nice! My sister is coming back tonight. Lindy asks 'what are we having for dinner?'
In JEN's style I answer: 'let yourself be surprised. See you tonight'.

I never know far in advance what we will be craving later on.
Taste buds are just as changeable as the weather.
It is always a creative art to think of what I will put on the table in the evening.
Spontaneity, a beautiful character trait. Just do it. We have to do so much already.
My appointments in social life are in yin-yang proportion.
Soon old-fashioned going out with a good friend.
The nice thing about him is that I don't have to plan anything.
When we plan something, we are at the location a fraction later.

Spontaneity brings many nice side effects: encounters, humor, history and enjoyment.
Also while traveling. I can still remember my solo trip through Thailand.
Traveling around with a heavily packed backpack, traveling by bus, boat and hiking.
The encounters, each with their own story. Nothing planned, experienced through carpe diem.
This trip remains worth gold. A book that never gets finished.
It brings my to an idea to prepare a delicious CURRY SOUP later.
I pick the necessary items from the vegetable garden and go inside.
There is tofu in the fridge, in the dark room the vegetables I got from the Toko.
With the fresh herbs from my garden I prepare everything for the preparations.

I quickly prepare the prosecco, so we can toast to our sisterly love.
When she comes in she beams, exactly what she hoped for Thai curry soup JEN-style.
'JENs cheers! to our love' and with a big smile I get to work.
While cooking, having a nice wine, we chatted about everything.
So much fun. Lindy, my sister, she is the best! I wouldn't trade her with anyone.
